### How our fares work
Every taxi ride runs on a PUC-filed tariff — a per-mile rate plus a fixed start fee, set and regulated by the Colorado Public Utilities Commission. No surge pricing, no app multipliers, just the meter.

Charter rides with Moose Motor Works work differently: those are booked by the hour, with a minimum hire per package, or as a flat one-way transfer. Below are the real, current numbers for every class we run.

Standard metered taxi — 6 passengers, 8 bags. $4.76 per mile plus a $4.60 start fee, PUC-filed under the Aspen tariff. $4.60 minimum fare.

Aspen Taxi Tariff

Standard metered taxi — 6 passengers, 8 bags. $4.76 per mile plus a $4.60 start fee, PUC-filed under the Vail tariff. $4.60 minimum fare.

Vail Taxi Tariff

Standard metered taxi — 6 passengers, 8 bags. $3.50 per mile plus a $3.45 start fee, PUC-filed under the Midvalley tariff. $3.45 minimum fare.

Midvalley Taxi Tariff

Moose Motor Works runs the premium side of the fleet — Luxury SUVs and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, booked by the hour or by the trip.

$145 per hour, 4-hour minimum hire, dedicated Luxury SUV with chauffeur. Overtime billed at $145/hr.

4-Hour SUV Block

$131.25 per hour for a full day, 8-hour minimum hire, dedicated Luxury SUV with chauffeur. Overtime at $145/hr.

8-Hour SUV Block

$395 flat per one-way transfer, 3-hour minimum hire, in a Luxury SUV.

Airport Transfer SUV

$187.50 per hour, 8-hour minimum hire, Executive Sprinter Van seats up to 14 with chauffeur. Overtime at $195/hr.

Full-Day Sprinter

$180 per hour, 10-hour minimum hire, dedicated Executive Sprinter with chauffeur for the whole day. Overtime at $195/hr.

Wedding Package Sprinter
